The 1st Balkan Poetry Marathon aspires to contribute to the strengthening of the image of poetry, but also to the interaction and acquaintance of the peoples of the Balkans. The Balkans, a crossroads of cultures and trade, have always functioned positively in change and in the “foreign”. Always welcoming and tolerant in a unique multicolor, with a variety of languages, religions and ethnicities. The main speaker of the event will be the Vice Rector of the University of Peloponnese, Professor George Andreiomenos.
